All my Babiesby DarkRiderComment: You set the lenses up behind the eye piece? How did you get it to focus on them? Interesting shot from a technical perspective. Not all that attention grabbing though. Would like to see how ya did it!

Reflective Edificeby alanfreedComment: There's a little much going on in this shot with all the conflicting lines. My eye doesn't know where to rest. A tighter crop (more zoom) would simplify this.

Subtle Reflectionsby ws6_taComment: NIce sharpness in the center of the flower but the edges are a little soft. I personally would like to see more DOF in a shot like this. Also, your reflection is a little dark. My recomendation (based on MY taste) would be more light and a smaller aperature.

Cold Reflectionby odjboComment: Looks like you have camera motion in this shot. Were you hand held or using a tripod? If you were using a tripod, you might not have had enough light to get the shutterspeed fast enough to isolate the motion of the water. Nice attempt though. Your mirror is not very evident.

Four for the wallby mrorange002Comment: This is BY FAR my choice for the Blue for this challenge! Awesome shot that I assumed would be underappreciated. Thankfully I was wrong! Still should have got a ribbon though...

Edited to add. I usually hate big borders, but this one works so well that I didn't even notice it till I posted this comment... Message edited by author 2004-09-08 00:49:09. |

Girl Talk in the Gardenby taterbugComment: Dude, we need to get you a camera with a few more million pixels. Love the soft focus effect on the foliage, but you don't have enough detail in the girls (main subject) to make the soft focus pop. Awesome composition with a subtle framing that works well for me for this challenge!

A Night Callby SavirComment: I need to call my buddy on my cell phone and see if he knows what those boxes on the wall are... Just kidding, is this a self portrait or a candid? Other than being a little soft its a very nice shot! Were you in a moving vehicle when you took this or is the framing a platform of some sort?

Through the Greenby eptasdiComment: Love how the eyes match the foliage! Are you blown out on the highlights or did you neatimage?

Where Deer, Elk and Antelope Playby SamTComment: The ever slightest amount of fill lighting on the fence and this would be perfect! (I have my own lighting issues and can't help with this one, but it would make a great subject for a forum thread. You could get the opinions of the lighting gurus!)

Four for the wallby mrorange002Comment: This is incredibly well done and took much patience from a very young model (and photographer I shoud add)! I hope she was well rewarded. Best in show that I've seen so far. KUDOS.
