The Wild Seaby babylonComment: Very nicely done! You have leading lines that are very subtle and work on the mind in a very unconscious way. This is what I believe is much more effective usage of the compositional style that is called leading lines.

Oh yeah, great misty tonality. My only small complaint is that the ground is so much darker than the rest of the shot and kinda unballances the overall cold feeling... |

Treasure Huntersby CutterComment: Interesting composition! I would love to see the original though. Your treatment here looks very unnatural. Your sky doesn't match the lighting of the rest of the image and I don't recall ever seeing a pickled beet red sky before...

Take Offby karmatComment: According to the arrows, he's goin' the wrong way! :-P How did you turn this B/W? Your tonal range is kinda flat and needs contrast. Nice overall composition though!

Property Lineby The EskimoComment: This is a good example of leading lines attempting to be the subject, but something here seems lacking to me. I think it's what Ansel Adams would call your 'bald headed sky'. A more dramatic (spelled cloudy) sky would make this a much better shot. Do I see a reshoot in the future?

Poserby gothgirl83Comment: This shot is quite flat probably because of the flash on the camera. Next time try not using the flash and using existing light (preferably window light but electric lights will work also if placed in imaginative spots and you set your white balance properly) Also, your subject is not in the most appealing of poses and the crop looks quite awkward. Shooting pets and not having it look like a snap shot is a task that takes much patience and trial and error...

Let's fly a Kiteby XileboComment: Cute shot! I bet your getting comments about only having one leading line... Wonder if people are counting the tail of the kite? :-P

Tennis Anyone?by PoobaComment: I believe this is a different compositional technique. Your lines don't really lead anywhere but they do give texture to the shot!
