Aloneby maxxumgComment: I think a sharper deer would stand out more against the background. I love the yellow. I also think editing out the grass/cropping the bottom closer to the deer would improve it. Message edited by author 2008-11-13 09:37:27. |

Heat of the Momentby got2bgutsyComment: The black and white made it a little hard to tell what I was looking at at first, but the title made it more clear. I'd like to see a version in color. |

From Simpler Timesby spiritualspatulaComment: I think giving this machine a wider frame with more open space would heighten the feeling of abandonment. Right now it's hard to tell if it's really "abandoned" because it lacks context. |

Miss Havisham's fateful momentby krnodilComment: Very clever, though I'm not sure if everybody will be familiar with the Dickens character. From what I remember, this is the time that she was abandoned at the alter? Perhaps too much foreknowledge is needed to "get" this, but I hope not. I like the blur and the ghostly feel of Miss Havisham inthe back. I find the white gap in the lower left corner a little distracting, a version with the clock filling that corner would be cool. |

Crw_9308 edit 1 640421.jpgby nards656Comment: This reminds me of the last reunion my family had. It was for the loss of our eldest member - my great-grandmother passed away just shy of 100 years! I wasn't able to go to the funeral/reunion because I was out of the country for school, but I know that at such a time having your family around can be a great lift to the spirit. |

Pelican Waddleby sherpetComment: I love all the shots of Percy. He seems to be posing for the camera and having a blast. |

Fuzzy Wuzzy Was a Bear, Fuzzy Wuzzy Had No Hair....by ShakaComment: Hey, you say in the descrip. that you think it might be a little bit blurry, but I think it works for the mood of this pic. The black makes him look very lonely. There was another inside-out teddy pic in the comp. that was surrounded by other "normal" bears, and I think I like the way they filled the frame better, but at least it looks like your velvet is working! :) Would you believe this is also the first thing I thought of? Didn't enter this round, though. |
