A Whale of a Puzzle For Youby QuigleyComment: I think the composition here is well put together and I dig the colors, but this just doesn't grab me and I'm having a hard time putting my finger on why. I think maybe some extra negative space at the top might make it feel a little less crowded. |

Puzzled Stareby smardazComment: Cool idea, a different take on the puzzled faces we've seen in this challenge. Nice focus on the eyes. I'm glad you decided not to put one of the shadow lines right through the pupil or something. |

Natural Sandstone Sculpturesby vtruanComment: There was another pic that I commented on that kind of reminds me of this one, even though the subjects are completely different. I think this would have done better in this challenge if the texture of the rocks was the focus instead of the shape - more of a close-up would be more "puzzled" to me I suppose. I also love the colors but wouldn't mind if they were a bit more saturated. |

Now, where's that corner piece?by TrollManComment: I like these sort of natural puzzles. I love the rusty color against the harshness of the ice here. Message edited by author 2009-03-04 14:28:52. |

Reflections in a glass roofby ReinerComment: Okay, I feel that this meets the challenge, but I don't think that it is executed well. The yellow bit in the bottom left feels out-of-place and is distracting. Also, I think it could be sharper (but that might be the fever talking). The colors just seem kind of bland to me. Nothing pops about this pic. |

breakthrough by ColeyskiComment: Ha, well done! Some people can pull off this trick so well. I really want to try something like this someday.Great composition and I think it turned out quite well. |

Natural Habitat?by YWRodelComment: I'm not sure what about this is puzzling, maybe I just don't get it... I love how soft he looks though, I would want to cuddle with him (her?) if I didn't know s/he had sharp teeth in there too. |

Cool glowby ConnorComment: Ooh, I like this, I was imagining something like this for somebody else's picture. Simple but fun to look at and definitely meets the challenge. Good job. |

Still Puzzled by C_Steve_GComment: Simple and elegant in a way. I think this would look fabulous on black, the silver standing out against the darkness and no shadows. Nice composition. |

Why am I white......when everyone else is yellow?by SEGComment: Personally, I think this is pushing it, but I'm going to go with the flow. Fabulous DOF, great colors and I'm always a sucker for square framing. I'm not a fan of big, bright borders though, but be aware that it is a personal bias and I don't think it makes this pic worse. |
