Train Crossingby subject22Comment: I always think it's funny to see pictures that invoke a color (red) and are presented in black and white. This is very sharp and looks great, but I think it would also pop in color. Especially if you could get that red light to come on! :D |

old style by ralphComment: I love this, it's cute and feels fragile, and interetsting representation in a challenge where most other entries are striving for images of tough and powerful machines. |

End of the Lineby dsternerComment: Nothing feels very sharp about this pic. I don't think the black and white does it any favors. The train is so dark that it's hard to make out any details there, just looks like a dark blotch to me. I think if more of the side were included it would be easier to make out details there. |

I Hear the Train A Comingby drewhosickComment: Epic. Something about this feel soooo much grander than any other pic I've seen in this challenge so far. I think it's a combination of excellent framing and composition and the man looking soooo little down further away. Fantastic. |

Solo for the V-Trainby jeroweComment: That guy's hat makes this feel so old timey. The colors work well with that feeling too. I think I'd like it even more if the focus were sharp on the person waiting instead of the sign. |

Leavingby fridjoComment: I like the way the yellow all ties in together from left to center to right. |

Old and Witheredby WickedSoundComment: Old and withered, yes, but other than that it's a little hard to tell what I'm looking at. If this weren't in the trains challenge I don't think I'd know it had anything to do with trains. I like the diagonal lines in your composition though, to me that makes this pic. |

A Green Rideby angkokwengComment: Wow! One of my top rated shots in this challenge. There's a lot going on here, but it all works together really well. I love the city in the background and the intense color from the greenery. |
