...ants are marchingby nnaahComment: Like the title, concept and overall framing, but the DOF lacks a bit. All that seems to be in focus is one ant's butt. |

Enjoying the Gardenby ah_waiComment: You've pushed the saturation so far, the dog's nose is blue. This seems to be the lawn and not the garden -- I guess it depends on how you define garden. Cute dog. |

last tryby oljyComment: What are the yellow lines running along the left and the right? First glance, I really like the photo but the lines are drawing my eye making me ask -- what's up with this? |

In The Garden, Again!by sagestudioComment: Cute goat. You've clipped off his tail though. I'm not one who demands that the entire body be in a photo -- you could have cropped from the middle of his back right foot up, and then across his hip on the top to make it look like you were trying to enforce the idea of his intrusion into the garden. Also, some light on his face would be good. The left eye is lost in the darkness. |

Restby T-rexComment: That's either one big @$$ bug, or you're real close :)
I like the angle and framing, even though the wing is clipped off. For some reason though, the front of the link in the chain keeps drawing my eye -- perhaps because this seems to be the main focus point. Still, a nice photo. |

Led Down the Garden Pathby jlrComment: The main subject here seems to be dead flowers, which violates the challenge... but wait... I do see a bug -- perhaps this is the subject. If so, we need to be closer to really see him. |

Holding On.... by buzzrockComment: Somehow I knew this challenge would bring out a lot of macro bug shots :)
Nice clarity without seeming oversharpened -- exept the end of his (her?) butt is out of focus. |

Moon Obscured By Cloudsby hgpayneComment: I could have got closer to the moon with a different lens, but I liked the way it was framed in the trees, and the trees themselves each form a crude quarter circle, plus the hill in the background has a roundish look to it. I realized this wouldn't win big, but I liked it and felt it did meet the challenge category. Oh well, there's always next time. This first submission gives me something to beat. |

Silent spectatorsby sunsonComment: The sky is way blown out. What was the "trend" you were going for here? I'm missing it. |
