Ok after looking at the tope 3, I stand by my previous comment. In my opinion, this one was the winner (no offense to teh winning entries).

You would have gotton a perfect 10 for this one if the camera angle was a bit more dramatic. Excellent texture... great colors (suggestions)... I would look for more sharpness.. and perhaps a zoom in, or a crop around the "eye" of the feather. Great job!!!

I got a new favorite image!! Thank you for this wonderful idea. The idea itself overshadows any remaining small technical glitch. I would have loved to see a better camera angle. But this one would do just fine as a winner methinks:-)

This is NOT black and white.. it has COLOR components it it. Please go back and read the description again, it is simple, and straighforward, and says 'take a black and white image'.

Pretty picture otherwise. I would have changed the lighting a bit... and cropped in more on the inner loops.

Perhaps its the confusing challenge description. This is one of the many images that is trying to give the color away in the title. IMO, that shouldnt be the case. The image itself should give the color away... indirectly. Please read the description.

Otherwise, the image itself is very strong technically. I would rate it much higher if it were a free study.
