 This shoot produced pics that were way better in color. And yes, this was a shoehorn. Hope you like it anyhow :D

Rotated a little as well as contrast/exposure/lens corrections in RAW. Then straight to the channel mixer with it. I had a more dramatic version that I liked way better, but I figured the white fringe it created would be a deal-breaker for you guys.

Finished 'er up, uploaded, decided I hated it, and threw an ultra-contrasty Curves layer on there.

I like the composition here. The model draws me in more than the balloons. I think it would have played better with the balloons showing up in B&W darker.

They may be pink, but they are overexposed int he photo, making them white and loosing definition. Would have been much better if they were still a shade of grey, and the shaddows and shapes of the balloons obvious, as that wouldhave portrayed the colour better

Perhaps its the confusing challenge description. This is one of the many images that is trying to give the color away in the title. IMO, that shouldnt be the case. The image itself should give the color away... indirectly. Please read the description.

Otherwise, the image itself is very strong technically. I would rate it much higher if it were a free study.

That is so weird! The far right and bottom balloons actually do look pink to me. I had to pull it into photoshop to verify that they are truly gray. It's a cool shot, and I don't know how you could nail the challenge any better. A 10 from me!
