Road Cross Qua(ck)mire!by WeJayComment: LOL. I'm going to assume that the yellow tone was intentional, though I don't think it's how I'd have processed this. Great control of lighting. |

Anyone for tennis?by mikeeeComment: I understand that there is some backlighting in this image, but to me it doesn't really highlight the theme. Also, the vertical lines appear tilted to the left a bit. In terms of interest level, this doesn't really hold mine. |

Rays of Lightby kaiser_chiefComment: I'm not sure if there was some tonemapping, or if you adjusted highlights/shadows, but there's noticeable haloing around the lighthouse, at least on my monitor. I do like the tones you've captured in the clouds. |

Aureolaby rajronComment: I love the idea, though I'd like to see even less foreground, or a more appealing foreground ie. without the house and the large shadow cast by the house. |

prison breakby crayonComment: Great tones in the clouds. I believe the challenge called for backlighting without the subject becoming a silhouette. |

Smoke Breakby RegoComment: I think I'd like this a bit more with the left side cropped out. |

The Fogby RulerZigzagComment: Cool effect. I might have tried a slightly different composition without so much going on in the background (window, fence, tools, steps). I believe the challenge also called for non-silhouetted subjects. |
