Molt by Samantha_TComment: Probably the most emotional piece I have ever seen... I'm in aw of this photo...
I didn't get to look through the photos during voting because of school but I am SO happy I got to see it now... Unbelievable. Stunning in every way. I would have given this a ten without any question whatsoever! |

The Long and winding roadby GilesComment: Color is lacking! Looks like a heck of a sunset/rise but the colors aren't there? I wonder what the original image looked like before editing. I wonder if you could have done a gradient style of edit to pop the colors of the sky more. I think that if there were more dramatic oranges and reds then this would have done a whole lot better. Oh, and I know some people don't bother with this but the rule of thirds is nonexistent in this shot. But rule of thirds is just personal preference for me. |

Not Tonightby GilesComment: For the sake of trying to find something wrong with this for critique purposes... I just don't think that it is quite sharp enough on the eyes. For portraits, it's all about how sharp you can get the eyes without overdoing in post process. The background is blown out nicely but I just don't think that the viewers eyes went to anything in specific. That specific needed to be the eyes and it's just not there for me. |
