I didn't know what kind of dove he is so I googled zebra doves and that's exactly what he is. There are millions (okay, not millions but thousands) of these in Hawaii. They're known for not being very smart so they often get hit by passing cars. I worry about Stubby Foot all the time...hehe.

Here's a shot of Stubby from about 3 years ago. You can see his foot better in this one. I'm standing about 3 feet away from him.

Very cute. His/her face is a bit difficult to see so it's hard to make a strong connection this little one. I like the contrast of the baby bird against the stark white background but if I could make a stronger connection to him/her, it would pull me into the shot even more.

i've had 3 camaros over the years...a big block '68, a landau top '70, and a big bird yellow '76.
i truly miss them all.

i'm hoping someday to get another 1st generation.
