I like the angle here but the picture is way too light. It looks like there is some texture to whatever the cat is lying on and in my opinion that would have added something to the picture.

The windows in the back detract from the subject in my opinion. I would have liked a different and maybe closer angle since the man has very interesting features and definitive clothing. I do very much appreciate the carving on the chair and would definitely include that as well because it gives a real texture.

I like this picture. The colors are interesting and pleasing, the clarity is wonderful and I aspire to be able to capture this kind of quality myself someday. You must have pumped this guy full of cream to get this level of satisfaction. Don't take all of those cat bashers seriously there are some good kitty photos in this challenge and this is one of them.

This is a very interesting picture. I'm curious about the boy in sandals (what is the covering on his forearms and hand?) and it feels like there might be an undercurrent going on even though there is a definite feeling of stillness or calm to the photo. I'm uncertain about the sepia tone - maybe because it is looking flat. Anyway to me pictures should make you think or feel or both and this one does that. Technically I am such a beginner but can say that the cropping is very pleasing to me, the light spot on the wall is a little distracting and with the hint of shadow on the wall I wonder if that couldn't have been enhanced. Love the expressions on the boys faces.
