She looks familiar but nevermind. The shot still has a refreshingly spontaneous quality of high contrast film push-processed in my darkroom. Only the vignette seems unfilmlike. voted earlier

This is a terrific shot. The attitude and posture of the child are so natural and sociologically poignent - reminds me almost of Dorothea Lange's dust bowel photographs. But the aspect ratio is unnatural and unfilmic in my view and the scratchy overlay an unnecessary distraction from an otherwise winning shot. Scratches in my film never looked like that.

Hard to know what one say coherently except to go from the gut, which is: I like the shot's textures and visual integration of the recognizable shape of the dog into its vitally abstract environment.

I like this image a lot for its composition and atmospheric tonality. But how does a colored bit of flare get into a black & white film image???? Imaginative. And a late bump.

Yes! I was wondering if someone in the right place would put up a shot in the old view camera style a la Ansel Adams et al. And so it is. Nice. and a late hour bump

Such a lovely interruption of the pilings repetition and reflection. The bits of color provided by the beach toys are like bits of icing on the cake. bump

This cries out for a tighter crop to give the figures substantially more presence. All the extra space as is simply dilutes it all. Still a very nice slice of daily street life.

I remember guys like this back in Saigon in the '60s but the hedges weren't so nicely trimmed. Still like the shot.

I like this shot for its unpretentious depiction of what most of us never see. Maybe a bit too grainy for old film but whatever.

Kinda like the shot except for the overlay. Looks like the same overlay as the last entry. My many thousands of old film never looked like this even on a bad day.
