I'll be really curious to read your explanation of why you choose such a large black border. Neat way to frame the photo on your wall, but it does make it difficult to vote on the pic. Looks like a neat photo. Very hard to decide what to vote on this one...

Pretty portrait - makes her skin look smooth. The not-so-pretty wall behind does take away from the subject quite a bit.

I never understood why people framed their photos here. Now I understand how a frame can be used to enhance a subject, even an abstract one. Great use of the frame and color and of course straight lines.

Great composition, nice use of the lines in the fans, perfect model/makeup. The wrinkles in the backdrop do jump out at me - watch those details! The overall colorcast is a little too blue - could be improved with truer colors.
