I have to admit this is a darn cute photo :) But it feels a little "family snapshot" rather than serious photography. Would have liked to have seen a bit of light on the subject rather than the backgorund though - but gotta love that smile :)

B major Barre Chord in Blue

Not sure if the colour really enhances this photo. I know it fits in with the B challenge, but it has some odd effects, like the two white dots on the finger and the oddly coloured finger nail. Also, because the title suggests to look at the chord being played, when you do the fingers appear slightly fuzzy (out of focus?).
I do like the abstract idea though of meeting this challenge - well done (beats all those banana pictures :)

Excellent macro shot - great colours and clarity. If I was going to be picky, the blade of grass to the left of the bug is a little distracting as it cuts off its front legs and because of that your eyes are drawn to it, which then isn't in focus

Nice shot of the balloon here, but it's a pity that the sky appears so drab as it detracts a bit from the picture for me. A Bright Blue sky would have certainly helped :)
Also the background feels as though its sloping to the left a little

Thanks for all the great comments. This was my first challenge entry and to come 17th on my first go was a great achievement.
I'm puzzled by the big difference in high and low scores
Twelve 10's and six 1's - I would have loved to have got a comment for any of the 1's or 2's to find out why this didn't meet the challenge.
