the stowawayby grigrigirlComment: This is one of my favorites. The muted colors and theme make this feel like a screen capture from an old movie. Her eyes are beautiful and haunting and I like how her hat and hair fade into the shadow of the trunk. If I could vote, I would definitely give this a 10. |

Holding on to Childhoodby rll07Comment: This is just an excellent interpretation of the theme of the challenge. The angle from which you shot the photo and the placement of your subject is wonderful. I like that many clouds in the sky and the whisp of hair in the breeze. The image and the story it tells is very powerful. |

Deathby grigrigirlComment: I wish I could vote on this challenge. This is an excellent interpretation of the challenge. I love that the only real color is a slight tone to her skin but also the yellow flowers in the background. The placement on the page is near perfect, the symmetry of the foreground interestingly offset by the objects in the back. Beautifully done. Good luck. |

your little fortuneby timmiComment: LOL! I love the humor. I also like the colors and lighting and the crispness of the shot. I can't hell you win since I'm not allowed to vote, but if I could, I'd give you...hm...how about a 9? |

Hiking New Mountainsby RiderGalComment: This is one of my favorite photos of the challenge. Not so much for its interpretation of the future, but because it is just beautiful to look at. The blue is so blue against the light and dark, and the shooting star is a perfect touch. Very nice. |

Behold, HE Comes on a Cloudby karmatComment: With the many bleak entries into this challenge, this interpretation of the future is uplifting. The cross looks jagged on my screen though, detracting from the overall quality of the shot itself. |

Nuclear Winterby tops4mComment: Wow. Awesome shot. I particularly like how the root of the tree sort of fades into the snow and the mist off in the distance on the left is eerie. Very forboding. |

Singled Outby crabappl3Comment: I am very surprised this didn't score higher. It's a beautiful photo both in composition and creativity. I'm dismayed by the person who gave you only a 3 because it didn't fit the challenge. There was nothing in the challenge that said it had to be a flower garden and, I don't know about the rest of the world, but here in Illinois, you see LOTS of personal vegetable gardens growing corn. I do like the suggestion someone made that perhaps keeping the ear of corn yellow would make it stand out more. That might look cool, kind of like the "Glory" photo in your gallery. In any case, it deserved a higher rating. IMHO. |

Garden of Wishesby magnetic9999Comment: Ooh, too bad you couldn't clean up that light. I don't mind the brightness, it adds to the shot, but if one of the leaves had camouflaged the lamp itself, I think it would have been even more effective. |
