I like the lighting and the setting. Nicer than many of the pet shots. I think it would have been better had the cat been more in focus. You have the baskets and leaves in the background nice and crisp but since the cat is the focal point, I think he should have been clearer. Otherwise, a nice, artistic shot.

This is a great shot. I think it would have been even more interesting had you off-centered your subject to the right a little.

Aw, shucks. I was disappointed to open up the thumbnail and discover this is a wood (or resin?) carving. I thought you had captured a real person with a great expression! Ah well, it's still a great picture. Nice and crisp. great lighting, perfect use of a black backdrop. Had this been the read deal like I thought, it would have been my pick of the week. Good luck.

This is a great shot, certainly nostalgic. Taking your focal point off-center a little bit might have added a even more interest to the photo. Nice sepia and I like the fact that there are no clouds in the sky to detract from the pumps. Nicely done.

I think this might have worked better had you actually had a little boy in the shot playing with these toys and perhaps some different lighting would make it a little more interesting. As it is, it fits the theme of the challenge ok, but it just doesn't say too much as a photograph.

This doesn't really say "nostalgic" to me, but I love the picture so much I'm not even taking that into consideration with my voting this time. I'm not exactly sure what it is, maybe the pinkish tones or the stark white bottom, or maybe it's just the look in the beast's eye that captures my attention. Whatever it is, I think this is a great shot. Is that a second buffalo lying down on the left there? I think it'd be better without him but that's ok. Still one of my favorites.

This is one of my favorites of the challenge. I love the angle from which you shot and the details captured, from the intricate pattern of the tile floor to the tear in the first seat cushion. To me, this has a great nostalgic feel to it. Nicely done.

I like how you captured the look of nostalgia on his face as he looks, not so much on the picture, but through it, to another place and time.

I think this would have been even better had you pulled back and captured the wheels and the front thingy (don't know what it's called) on the train. but cropping it so high, we miss some nice components. I like the sepia and the nice clear image though.

I mostly like this photo, but I think the colors aren't doing much for me. I love the capture of the water and the fact that the cup is on an angle so you can get a sense of the impact. I also like the texture of the backdrop surface compared with the textures created by the water in the cup. I wonder if it might not have worked a little better using a different color or clear cup, or perhaps using black and white. All in all, I like it though. Definitely an Oops most of us can relate to.
