If this seems boring and poorly composed to you, I would assume that you have not been there to see the real thing. True, it would be great to see the whole thing, however...It's behind glass, the glass is in sections (so if you move the wrong direction you will have a window joint through your picture), there are a million people packed in there like sardines trying to get a look at it simultaneously, no flash, no tripod, no monopod. I'm amazed it's not a giant blur with someone's head in the frame.

Being from NE and all, I never really thought sandhill cranes were anything special because we see so many of them... on the other hand, this is a great shot! DOF and detail are right on. These guys can be difficult subjects for photos for sure.

I actually like this one for this challenge, interesting composition. The guy could have a better expression on his face and some of the hilights on the top right may have been lost... a little tighter crop on the left may hide the slight distortion of the pillar.

Had to laugh a bit when I saw this one, not quite sure what is implied in the title. Left hand is a bit soft and some of the hilights look a tad funny, but overall a very interesting capture.
