passage by TiberiusComment: I like what you are going for here with the tunnel off in the distance. The featureless sections of white have less impact than the inner portion. |

SS Oliver Hazard Perryby bassboneComment: Bizarre what happens in the negatives. Love how the bright boat is brought so much into the foreground. and the dark sky in the background. |

Mill Workby ErinKirstenComment: I love it. It is a like a wild drunken dream come to life. Great composition with the arches framing the image. |

Blue Buffalo Dreamsby MaryOComment: My top pick. I really love how all the negative colors interact. The buffolo is indeed dream-like. |

The walkby toutoungiComment: Great bit of seeing here. Having her peak through his arms is very interesting as is his eyes looking sideways at you. The subject isolation here is more from foreground than from "separating it from the background" as the background is mostly in focus. |

Passing Stormby glad2badadComment: Great bit of seeing here. Reminds me of all the lighthouse photos taken in puddles. The B&W works very well here. The subject isolation here is more from the reflection than from "separating it from the background". |

Sittin' In The Morning Sun . . .. by ErinKirstenComment: Very calm and serene. I like all the subtle greens and browns in the palette. This would also have worked well in portrait orientation (or even a squarish portrait), with the added bonus of removing the dark-ish area on the right side. |

F-35Bby dreambigxoxoComment: Nicely captured. Usually a centered shot is not the best, but it works here do the vapor (?) trails from the wings. The plane is slightly turned away from you which does give a peak of the exhaust but also puts less emphasis on the cockpit. |
