I am perplexed about this. Is supposed to be a photo of desperation; from the title, I expect it is. It is a shame... lovely lady so close to the real and metaphorical edge. Very powerful shot.

I think I have seen 50 images of this model... self portrait? This has a couple of characteristics that I would like to explore sometime. First, is the tone and flat lighting. In particular, I don't know how your kept your lips so "colorless". The second is what appears to be short lens distortion. Did this contribute to the large eyes, or do you just have that large and beautiful. Nice crisp focus on the eyes.

I really like the very bright red contrasting the very gray background. I think her face could be a brighter. Perhaps a reflection would have both brightened her face and softened the shadow on her left cheek.

"Kilroy was here." Very pretty girl with a wonderful smile. Good DOF. I might have moved in a little closer showing less of the wall. That would probably require her hands to come a little closer together, but this is a picture of Selina, not a wall.
