speed of soundby kraeComment: Not blurry enough for the challenge imo. Don't like the harsh green either. revising and reviewing and I think this deserves a better score upon reflection. bumping up. Could have been alot better with more blurr though. |

Natural abstractby gibaComment: dnmc- I'll elaborate. The subject is in sharp focus and only the background is blurred or out of focus. The blur should be the main element in the composition for this challenge imo. |

Morning Commuteby kv144553Comment: dnmc- I'll elaborate. This image is largely in focus and not too terribly blurry. The mirror is in focus and appears to be the subject. That doesn't meet the challenge of the BLURRIEST most CHAOTIC image that is still engaging. |

Tiny Carnivalby hannafateComment: dnmc- I'll elaborate. I don't see where the small amount of blur actually adds anything to the image. It would have been better without it. |

Location--Location--Locationby digifotojoComment: I think if the sky were blue instead of the same color as the pollution this would be a 10. Still this is an excellent shot with much to commend it. Nice juxtaposition of 'clean' suburban life with the pollution. This one really makes you think. I can't quit thinking about who might live in these homes and how they feel about what's in their backyard. Having the edges of the two closest houses on either side almost makes it feel like the houses have circled up in a defensive posture against the pollution. |

Jack pollutes my mindby dd1989Comment: Looks like you used a flash. It was a little too harsh. The hot spots on the bottle are distracting and burn out some of the lettering. Looks like the bottle is on top of two sheets of paper that are lying on top of one another (The bottle was too big for just one sheet I suppose) There is very distracting line running across the photo that indicates this. The neck of the bottle loses focus as their is not enough depth of field. Nice Idea. Just needs a little work. Maybe if the bottle were sitting up it would help also. How bout some shot glasses? alot you could do with this idea. I think a good take on the challenge. |
