An afternoon in a hot desertby madrushComment: The major color components of black and white don't feel warm to me, no matter what the temperature there was. It feels a bit post-apocalyptic or something though I do really love the foreground detail and the patterns in the sky. |

Fireby LN13Comment: i find my eyes drawn to where stem meets the petal, not the tip where the fiery action is. perhaps it could have been framed with the tips a bit farther from the border. |

flight homeby xtianComment: pretty, though it would have been nice if there was a bit more contrast to the waves or texture to the sky, though I really can't expect the photographer to generate clouds |

dreamsby JulietNNComment: I think that the dark area that is front and center, starting in the middle and going straight down and off to the left may have taken away from this shot some. Perhaps if it had some more light on it to show off its pattern as well the contrast of the other patterns could have been enhanced. |

Swirlby KelliComment: Particularly at this time of year when there is only the anticipation of things coming back to life it makes me quite happy to see this picture. The multiple patterns are great with the obvious twist of the petals and the finer detailed veining of both the petals and the sepals and the wonderful contrast zig zag where the green sepals meet the pink of the petals. I love how the DOF is just right to be in focus from the curve of the stem to the tip of the petals. The more I see it the more I like it. |

Toxic Breathby njsabsComment: Striking. Interesting light flares through the holes in the lower clouds and near the top of the right building. I think the only thing I don't really like is the bit of a bright edge all around the silhouetted buildings. |

In my drinking water? by KelliComment: So thats why the first cup of water from the tap always seems to taste rubbery! Nice shot, just wish the front of the tire was in focus. |

Abandonmentby AquarianaComment: Wish it was bigger, perhaps a tighter crop as well. Great idea and subject though. |

doing somethingby kolasiComment: Pollution solution! Wish there was a bit more depth of color. Overexposed? |
