Blue skyby ELLIPSComment: Sort of seems snap-shottish. Albeit, a really good one. Sort of the thing that you would expect to see in a company sales brochure. "Why our shipping company is better than someone else's? |

Learning to Fishby pointandshootComment: This is sort of interesting to look at. Sort of impressionistic. I'm still attempting to figure out how you did this. Is this a reflection turned upside down? |

Handyman's delight.by robstComment: Interesting choice in removing all color except that found on the boat. The shot seems out of balance to me. I'm wondering if it is the angle...having the majority of the boat on the right or the fact that 60% of the noticable color is bunched up on the right. Something seems off to me. |

Rowing in the white seaby WindtaleComment: Judging by the title, you meant to blow out the water and make this look like a negative image. These types of shots do absolutely nothing for me. Art speaks differently to different people.
I do like that you attempted something different. Watch the focus problems, things get a little wonky around the heads of the people in the boat...might be a processing issue too. |

Waiting for the tide...by strikealiteComment: The whites seem blown out to me. If you attempting a ghost-like image, I think a gussian blur or some backlighting would have been better. |

Unexpectedby rinacComment: Yes, it is unexpected. Not technically a boat, just a part of one, I still think you did well and met the challenge. |

Twoby BudComment: I really like the aspects of this. Was there any way to lighten the color of the water, even just slightly. I think the "beat up" aspect of the boats is sort of lost against a backdrop that is darker than the "scars." |

Sailingby KelliComment: For me the processing is over done and the colors don't seem natural...the hulls, people and shore line. So if that was where you were going...yoohoo! :) |

No Sailing Todayby NuzzerComment: The darkness of the sky processing obscures the mast and sail lines of the boat. I think the fact that the boat is on dry land is infinitely more important than the clouds. What would this look like in color? Would the boat be more visible? |

Riggedby JuliBocComment: Oddly, the first thing I see is the flag, then the green sail covering. |
