Nice textures, not so sure I like the selective desat

Sad. A gripping picture. The partial desaturation works nicely. I find the power lines left of the bow and the cylindrical thing to the right of the rudder very disturbing, I'd probably have removed or blurred them.

Rich textures make this shot - too bad the trailer is a bit distracting -7

It's very interesting for sure but something about the edit, for me anyway, is odd.

I hate selective De-Sat, but I'll make an exeption for this one...

Interesting choice in removing all color except that found on the boat. The shot seems out of balance to me. I'm wondering if it is the angle...having the majority of the boat on the right or the fact that 60% of the noticable color is bunched up on the right. Something seems off to me.

Not sure that the focal saturation has worked in your favour...I like the idea of highlighting the boat with colour, but I might have just done a less hectic desat on the perimeter... but tha's very personal. Lovely composition. and subject choice!!!

Interesting use of selective de-saturation.

Nice idea. I think the desaturation makes it look more like grafitti than rust and old paint.

tone mapping really brought out the detail on this one!

love it - love it - but my wife would kill me if I brought one of these home - great detail and the color vs b/w is effective - 9 (it would be a 10 without the powerlines in the background - the rules allow those to be cloned out)...
