Seems snap-shotish to me. I've also never seen a yellow raccoon in the wild, not that there isn't one, but the colors seem off to me. Nice idea, though.

I like the effect of the "paleness" of this shot. I would like to see more focus on the eyes behind the toys.

I'm sorry, this just doesn't do much for me. I have racked my brain to figure out why, so as to be constructive. My biggest "issues" aren't really your fault...taking a picture through glass into water. You have no control over the cleanliness of the glass at an aquarium, so it's not worth mentioning (or voting you down.) I like the fact that there are actually two reflections of the girl. Just overall, I am left feeling ho-hum with this. Again, I don't think you should take that as criticism, just as an example of how art "speaks" differently to different people.

I would prefer a little sharper focus on the colt's upper face. I am visually drawn to the nose.

To much shadow on the uncovered portion of the face, for my liking. The white bacground adds emphasis to the raised arm, moving my focal point forward instead of back to the face. On a personal note, I HATE it when girls wear their hair accessories on their wrists. I am constantly telling my daughter to take them off or put them back in the hair...a pet peeve of mine that unfortunately, distracts from the rest of the shot. Not, that they are an overall negative to this shot, in fact I would love to see someone make some sort of editorial comment on this fashion trend.

You almost don't need the shoreline. The bouys communicate that this is near land.

The reflection is almost too much. I feel a little confused about where the focal point is.

There's alot going on here. The elf doesn't seem to be the focal point, imo. Perhaps tighten the shot to the base of the tree or move the elf to the foreground (like just behind the log.)

If looks could kill! I can tell this was a surprise shot, but I would prefer more color and no hair band on the wrist.
