Touchby Moose408Comment: Fantastic detail and lighting. My only minor complaint is this doesn't feel intimate. To me they look more like there bracing against each other and pushing away than reaching out to touch each other. |

A Pilot's Moment of Reflectionby todbedyComment: This took my number one and only number 10 vote in this challenge. Just for the shear challenge of getting that reflection in with basic editing rules, I have assumed honesty here. |

In the bus...by desc4dComment: I have no idea what this picture is doing this far down in the ranks I gave it a nine (I only gave 3 out and one 10). Easily one of the more interesting photos in this challenge, I never considered it finishing more than a page back. |

The Criminal Elementby total_noviceComment: Wow thanks for all the great comments they really mean a lot. As this was my first challenge I had no idea what to expect and I'm more than pleased. 13 votes in the top 3 one of which is a 10 has made my day.
Plus I don't think I've ever seen such a perfect distribution curve in practice. |

Model Scientistby JohnnyPhDComment: As a scientist this picture offers me hope, thank you.
Really nice shot, I like the fact the white lab coat and in her skin are a little to bright making the picture extra sharp. |

Hula Girlby BumpyBComment: I really like this portrait it has a fantastic sense of fun.
Unfortunately there's no environment in the shot so I feel obliged to score lower than I think the shot is worth. 7 for this challenge, 8 maybe 9 if it was just a stand alone shot. |

After the Long Rideby debitiptonComment: As odd as it sounds I really like the sarcastic glance the horse is giving the camera....
Generally speaking in this challenge I've scored animal shots pretty low but in this case the horse really engages with the viewer and the human really engages with the horse. |

Kickboxing instructorby DeniseComment: This is a nice portrait but she doesn't seem to be interacting with her environment. the punch on the bag clearly isn't a real punch and because she's looking away from the bag it just looks like a side note.
I'm also not fond of the shadow on the wall. Ideally I would like to have seen her interacting with the equipment more or even better a student and with more of the gym in the background. |
