Though this may very well be may favorite in the challenge I keep wanting to look at it in a portrait orientation with a 90³ CCW rotation. Just seems to me to make more sense that way....still like it very much.

My! Well I voted at home where, apparently, my monitor is not as bright as at work. I did not find this too dark. The coloring worked for me, especially that great blue/purple againt her gorgeous auburn hair. But what caught my eye is her eye, peering at me right over the fan with that smiling, seemingly coquettish (sic) face. And as often as I look at it, that is where my attention goes. I thought you did a great job with this and gave you an 8. I am very glad that the tone of your responding message is very positive and I look forward to seeing more from you. This really should have placed much higher. Not sure why it didn't. The photo is well shot, it's bright and happy, and funny (love the glasses!!) Guess that was too much to take in in 2.5 seconds. 9 from me.
