Simply Jesseby vernabethComment: Well here's another one of those, I guess, DA's in the camera. Nice I guess but I do not know if the painterly effect is what I would have used to take a picture of a subject in a challenge whose theme is simplicity. |

So Inclinedby ellamayComment: nice composition....the suject is bit to dark gray in tonality...don't know what it is or the process of the BW or if it was shot or not in BW....just too much dark gray and gray and black and no white. |

LIFEby Harz_JoergComment: super, excellent detail, (bad manicure, LOL!) and lighting. The background is really blah. it is plain and simple but since it is not the subject, it does not necessarily have to be as well. Composition is fair but I wouold have maybe found a plant the did more of a diagonal bend to onc side ot the other and was a bit longer and shot the fingers to the opposite corne of the top of the plant. even as is move the fingers to my right would have helpe a bit. Very nice regardless. |

Natural Artby GrandmaEMTComment: I like the idea of this but let me pass on some fond words of advice that I received in this challange....did you have to cut of the branch in the upper left corner....it weakens the composition for me. Now it also looks from the angle you chose that you tried to hide the shadow. The shadow should have been more accentuated by having the subject away from the background and another angle chosen preferably from above for my tastes, but below or left or right might have worked as well. If you did not want the shadow, you might have gone with black in the BG and the subject would have stood out more. Know as it appears, the suject seems connected to the BG. |

Simplicity of a Moon!by tolovemoonComment: jeez you know the moon is in the vastness of the heavens so I really do not understand the necessity of this tight crop. Photo quality is very good. |

berryby jimmyComment: come on now....simple is the berry or the gland alone, you've thoroughly complicated it by with this berry tit balancing act....great shot for a balance theme but simple? nice shot....just no simple enough. |

Just a warm placeby poxyComment: too many textures and the subject really isn't simple. IMHO the simple of this image would have been the scene with out the blue and red thing. |
