...and Nobody Got Hurt!by scalvertComment: Got quite a tickle from this...reminds me of those witches they had around Halloween. LOL! very much like your set up in this, how the path of the sled leads right to the tree and no evident footsteps around. Also like all the shadows over the path. Nicely composed. |

Hidden During Votingby tyt2000Comment: Tell me about it. I would love if they make an icon of this to use for ones in the challenge, though I don't really ever give them. Just a riot, Like the grain, the tones and the textures very much as well as the lighting. Bag over the head indeed. ROFL! Great!! |

Unplugged by typologicComment: Like very much how the falling hair covers the face so well and the great shadow. Like the hi key in this as well. I suspect I know who this might be, but I have been wrong in the past so I well just keep it til later. Good luck! |

Sliding Impressionby vtruanComment: This is a very good abstract and I like the effect of the pan here while keeping some focus on the model's head. Like the colors very much as well, very good choice of background colors as the green complements the red hair. Excellent. |

Surreal Vacumingby arnitComment: Certainly surreal, think the foreground might have been a little brighter .If the background is real, which I suspect it is, I hope you paid your model well! Excellent and one of my favorites. |

Broad Streetby banmornComment: Thanks Jeremy....and guess what?
Hello,
I'm a picture researcher seeking images for a new book on Digital Travel Photography by visual arts publisher, AVA (see //www.avabooks.ch) and author: Duncan Evans, (UK). I enjoyed looking at your work on the web today and wondered if you might be interested in submitting some images for consideration?
I particularly liked the following images:
broad street
intricate versus lines
belfast city hall
Important: if selected for publication, AVA will need high res tiff files at 300 dpi for reproduction. Actual picture sizes should be minimum of either 250 mm wide (if landscape) or 250 mm high (if portrait). There may also be a few technical questions to answer about the piece/s, which I will email out at the appropriate time. Please let me know if this is likely to be a problem.
If this sounds of interest to you, could you email me as soon as possible..... and I'll be happy to send you further information about the publication.
Look forward to hearing from you.
Best wishes, Sarah
Don't know what may come of it but it certainly made me feel a lot better when I got this on Friday. |
