Clicheby MichaelCComment: OK image but stock wise, from what I have been seeing all about in business depictions in print and on websites, there would have been total focus on the subject and the background would be totally blurred to the point of bokeh. A vertical presentation and more height above the subect might have worked better as well, diminishing the background as it is perhaps too prominent in this. 7 |

Snowy Night at Rittenhouse Squareby phreakonComment: Liked this very much in the challenge. Thought of something similar but not with the park. Then I picked something else and got slammed big time. Oh well. Be on the look out for the next Philly DPC get together. |

Kimmel Sunsetby banmornComment: Thanks Kylie. I agree about the "busy"-ness. That is one of the reasons why it did not go into the Architecture Challenge for which it was shot. It was still pretty light out The sunset, and it was more muted than this saturated version, was on the thin lines of the rear facade of the building. But because of the light, there is the faint blurred city scape behind the structure. In fact if you look close on a larger version, you can see the faint outline of the Walt Whitman bridge as well as other structures. If you want, I can send you a larger version which may help. Apart from that, there was steam coming out of a vent in the building on the back which muted the detail of the wood lines at the bottom. |

Financial Districtby phreakonComment: Hmmm....interesting to say the very least. Never tried it at night, but then I usually don't have my tripod with me. The white balance is about what I would get. Interesting how close your were to the BLue X building. Like the angle from there very much. Good luck! |
