Pushing Throughby mciComment: One of my top votes in the challenge. great lighting. I like how the arm is just coming out of the darkness and pressing against and unseen surface. The fingers are splayed just right conveying the emotion of anguish, isolation or entrapment. looks great - well done. |

Pin Prickby cpurserComment: All of these knife and pin prick shots definitely make me shudder so I guess they are effective in meeting the challenge. Others went further with their shots, though as far as committing to the puncture or laceration. I do like the composition here. Good angle with the pin and good lighting. |

Touch too muchby PtmanComment: All of these knife and pin prick shots definitely make me shudder so I guess they are effective in meeting the challenge. What appears to be blood here though doesn't really look right - is this paint? |

Sharpby NodeComment: All of these knife and pin prick shots definitely make me shudder so I guess they are effective in meeting the challenge. This is an effective shot - not neccessarily one I'd like to hang in my living room, but a decent shot. The finger seems a bit soft, though.

Friendshipby NitinComment: I really like the lighting here. you made it so dramatic that even the overexposed highlights on the top thumb work well in the image. a simple handshake presented in an interesting way. |

smoothby ritaardComment: the fingers behind the leaves definitely make this shot something interesting. I would have considered cropping the bright area on the left out of the frame. nice job. |

Anticipationby BobsterLobsterComment: love the lighting (except for the bright spot on her nose) cropping is very good. the tight crop creates a very intimate feeling in the picture. well done. |

the manby jannComment: this could have been a pretty cool image. I like the composition but the soft focus, over sharpening and weird color artificats damage it severely. |
