Leda and Zeusby magnetic9999Comment: beautiful. I love the point of view and the muted colors. I was surprised to see so few portraits, but if this is one of the only examples, it is a fine representation of what an impressionistic portrait should be |

Can You Count the Sugar?by squeakyComment: my favorite candy! I love how the little sugar balls always come off on these all over the place. your shot is lit pretty nicely, without distracting shadows, but apart from the fact that I like the subject, nothing really draws me in. If you could have shot in even tighter, it might have been a more interesting abstract. |

Chopper Rideby BrenbComment: this would be stronger as a macro if there was an additional element to provide a sense of scale |

Secrets Between Sistersby holligan93Comment: Congrats Tyler! This was an impressive picture and an excellent debut. I really liked the tight crop and sense of intimacy you show in the secret communication between the girls. I agree with the comments about over sharpening or too much compression - many JPEG artifacts are visible, but it is a really nice composition otherwise. I expect we will see some excellent shots from you. Jus don't steal your dad for your photos... I already have him under contract as my favorite model. Keep up the good work!

Opposable Thumbby GeneralEComment: great idea and a nice clean graphic presentation. the only thing I really don't like is the cut away part of the bone. It looks pretty gross and distracts from the idea. |

Red Hairby SteveJComment: there is a pretty harsh shadow behind her head and the chair is a background distraction. Next time, movethe subject further away from the wall to avoid the shadow problem. |
