This had great potential - an interesting point of view, an abstract nature to the subject matter and interesting lighting. Focus seems a bit soft and tones are a bit flat though.

I don't think breaking up this image horizontally with the white lines wrks very well here. The vertical treeline gets completely chopped up and it calls attention to the railroad track or road in the center of the frame that is not horizontal at all (not that it has to be, but you accentuate it in a negative way with the dividing lines) Looks to me that you had a framing effect that you wanted to try and picked the wrong image to use it.

I like the idea a lot. Your composition is good, but I would have preferred if the left most finger wasn't in frame as it seem to be just hanging there out of context.

The horizon is pretty crooked, but given that this was a condid moment, I think you did an excellent job composing the scene. The windows above add a great sense of scale and the jump suit colors really pop. The interaction between the 2 guys in the middle looks great too.
