Lighting really hard but you got the colours to look really gross for eggs. in that way affective but i think softer light would have helped and plate seems to be tilted to left

A slightly faster shutter would render more detail in the moon. I also feel that dark empty spaces dont do much for this pic. more is needed in this to keep the interest

Focus is wrong and backlight distracting. Focus needs to be sharp on peach in the fore. Another angle trying to avoid the background or get more leave would help.

Nice pic with great ligting..fits black & white..But needs to be sharper and would place cross on left more into the pic slighty right of where it is now. Cross seems out of focus?

Nice idea. Need to balance the sunlight with shadows either by flash or taking this at different time of day.

Fot this pic to have worked better you needed the woman to have had guilt written all over her face and the man scared and unsure. having them standing in the midst of leaves/trees covering essentials would have given the message strong enough without the obvious nudity now presented here, making the pic more pleasing for viewers like me. Very good idea mind you.

The Reward

I agree that should one not understand the context of the photo, it could be rather overwhelming...colours and shapes. If however you are a South african the puzzle will take shape.

I could have taken a picture that was universally accepted, or I could have taken one thats for the local market, or more importantly in this case for me.

Medal.(reward) its for the Comrades marathon... the toughest ultra marathon according to many people. 89km over very mountaines terrain.Started just after the 1st world war by guy named Vic Clapham. He started the race way back in honour of fallen "Comrades' in the 1st World war" the toughness of the race to a large extent resembles the struggle of the veterans had and the comraderie amongst them, which you will also see amongst fellow runners in the race, helping each others. Rules have been changed a bit around this for health and safety reasons since people have been known to be carried over the finish line, just to die at the end, when in fact they should have recieved urgent medical attention.
You will notice its bronze, silver..For running under 9h00...the time reflected in the watch. 8H57. I Just made it lol. The medal is called a Bill Rowen, named after the first guy that broke the 9h00 barrier and if not mistaken maybe the first winning time.

The official colours of the race is the black and Gold/yeallow where the shoes I ran in coincidentally falls in line with this.

I took this pic more for personal reasons as this was a special race to me since it was my tenth, at wich time your racing number becomes your personal & permanent number, and you become a member of whats called the green number club. I also ran it with an injury which I should never have done, which made it one of my hardest Comrades to date. Lots of pain, but the reward was worth it, hence the reward theme I dont normally answer like this but if you are a sports fan, maybe i could interest you in joining us next year and you could be part of a large group of runners who do this as a challenge...as the saying goes here in SA. Everybody should do the Comrades at least once in their life. Cheers
