Bubblesby BobsterLobsterComment: Ironically, I just saw a another bubble photo. Darn randomizer.
Again, I concede it's technically on topic, and in fact as you caught the motion of the bubble being blown, possibly a bit more so than the prior example. I like that there's multiple bubbles about; it makes it more interesting. It also works for me in B&W, which is not always the case with B&W photos. Overall I like it. |

Bubble Liquidby LizzComment: ...okay. The exterior IS liquid on a bubble like this, I suppose, looked at a certain way. I'll call it 'on topic, for the most part', even though it's probably a better example of a gaseous subject. Or the principles of physics and surface tension. Or something. Anyhow.
It's a neat idea, and the bubblemass itself is very cool looking with the iridescence, but it's a pity you couldn't do the shot so the bubble was against the sky -- or did it stand out better against the cloud? Something about the clouds and sky look off... a bit of grain is visible, and maybe the light level seems wrong for the angle of the light and the glare. Not sure. |

Tearsby sagestudioComment: sigh.
Second tear picture I've seen, and second time I've had to decide if I think 'tears' are 'water'. Still debating.
The setup is fairly good, but the corner with the nostril is a little unattractive and also eye-pulling. It's somewhat on the bright side, and with the iris/pupil the only thing really dark that tends to pull the eye as well although that's not as bad as you can see the start of a tear there, though I'd rather something pulled the eye towards the falling one. |

Glass of Milkby SappyComment: On topic, along with an unfortunate number of others. I'm losing my enthusiasm on commenting on this type of shot, but let's see... the splashes on the side of the glass help with the topical connection... the background works better than I'd think for light-on-light until the bottom where it's overly bright... it looks strangely yellow at pour point; is it cream or buttermilk, or is that just the lighting? |

GOOD MORNING !by BitzComment: What surprises me less than all the syrup shots in the challenge is that I never once thought of it.
It's fairly appetizing-looking, which is a plus. The pitcher-pour looks natural. With as much plate surrounding the pancakes as you have I think I might have liked to see patterned dishware instead. Maybe a bit on the bright side. |

Bloop!by hockeyfanComment: I am trying to find something good to say about motion capture shots rather than just be sick of them -- not your fault the randomizer turned you up so late in.
Er, let's see. It's an interesting colour liquid, and neat it's a red/green contrast. I like the refraction to the bottom left.
I think a bit too much negative space at the top, though. You may have wnated to give the impression of height from which things are dropped but I think you could have still with a slightly closer crop. |

Opposite reactionby BJComment: I cannot in the slightest tell what this is or is meant to be. There's abstract, and then there's unfathomable. It's vaguely pretty in a shades-of-red sort of way I suppose. |

Lick Quidby Wraith RavenscroftComment: Must stamp out all punners. Punners are EVIL.
Er, well. At least I got the joke. And it really is a L1 coin, that's, er, good. Not a shot I'd want hanging on my wall but a funny-once at least. |

Smooth black coffeeby peter_kComment: Very blurry and maybe a bit too bright. I actually can't tell it's coffee due to these things but I'll take your word for it. |
