You've done a good job capturing the range of highlights in the image. This doesn't look like a posed image, and in my experiance its really hard to capture your intended emotion/situation without some planning/posing. Currently, the emotional punch just isn't hitting hard enough. That being said, you do a great job with the image you had--7

I like the composition, but your depth of sharpness needs some work. Use a high aperture, and a prime focus lens (like a 50mm) to get crisp and razor sharp images. Currently, the apple (which is one of the main subjects) to the left is too blurry.

Fantastic reflection. You could probably have coaxed more out of the image with an overlay layer on the background, and a shadow/highlight mask on the sky. A different shadow/highlight mask would probably be needed for the buildings and trees, but there's alot of tonal potential here that I feel just isn't realized

Fantastic HDR effect here. While I like the composition, I want the tree in the top right to be gone so I could see more of the sky, and possibly the sun.
