A nice soft look to this photograph for sure, but could have used a slight rotation I think. I also think would have been more pleasing to the eye without the photograph.

Thanks for the comments everyone. Obviously I could have been happier with the score. :)

From the comments, I think I know why this scored so low.

First of all, the paint brush wasn't obvious in the picture.. The head was too small and not 'paint brushy' enough I guess. It wasn't lit very well because the black paint was too glossy and ended up causing too much shine with any amount of light.

Second, as Melethia pointed out, the picture looked computer generated. I actually take this as quite a compliment considering how low-tech the shoot actually was!

Once again, a great learning experience!
