Hello fellow geek! Unfortunately the crop of this photo makes it quite small. A good concept, but the composition doesn't add a lot of interest. It might have looked better if a selection of books were taken off of the shelves, and arranged in a pleasing way. Same concept, just more visual interest.

Hey, I really like this! The low key look, the storm clouds, even the radio tower in the background works well with your 'subject'. :)

I'm sure you'll get hammered in voting because it appears to be a confrontational photo, but I hope people can look past that and really look at the photo. I did, and I really like what I see.

This is a really compelling photograph.. Emotive, gritty and dirty; not standard DPC fare. I'm guessing that you'll get a lot of 1's because many voters don't like 'ugly' photos. I hope my 8 offsets those a little.

First off, let me say that this photo is technically good. However, I tend to score overused concepts a little more harshly than original ideas.

This photo has been done time and time again on DPC, so therefore it should be much easier to nail than an original concept. To get a high score from me, I would expect the technicals to be near perfect considering there are so many examples to go by on this site. IMHO.

This is technically very well done, but I'm not getting the connection between a pen and printed off sheet music. Does writing connect people? Does music connect people? The message is not very clear to me.
