Love the selective desat, but the bulb is blown out with the rings blending into one another. I think it would have been pretty cool if you could have managed to show the entire apple. As it is, I think we can guess the apple is hollowed out with the power leads going off into the darkness. No vote, I'm in this one.

First off, the location is !perfect! for this type of challenge. But the positions and clothes of the two girls leave me scratching my head. The younger one appears to be smiling as well. That kills any dramatic mood the picture is trying to convey to me. No vote, I'm in this one.
