43 Minute Exposure by mgarsteckComment: Obvious use of a tripod, or any other long-term stabilization tool (1-10 *is not the score of the shot though*): 10
Looks like a former bridge or pier. The water is unrecognizable. Very cool. |

Very nice water softness and sharp details in the background. Can't do this handheld! |

Nice smooth water with sharp objects all around. No mistaking tripod usage here. |

Ghost trainby hajekaComment: Obvious use of a tripod, or any other long-term stabilization tool (1-10 *is not the score of the shot though*): 8
If it was a very fast moving train, it would be quite possible to get this handheld. Maybe a little longer exposure time showing the lights streaking further down the track. |

Another Windy Dayby AlynComment: Obvious use of a tripod, or any other long-term stabilization tool (1-10 *is not the score of the shot though*): 4
If it was very windy, this could have been done handheld with a slow-ish exposure time.(1/2 sec?) |

The excessively blown out street lamps and the faint ghosting of a couple walking on the right shows this wasn't done handheld. |

Sharp rocks and lighthouse with misty/foggy waves. All telltale signs of a tripod. |

A good telephoto lens with a high ISO, handheld? It's possible. Star trails with the moon would have been a dead giveaway. |

There's nothing here that tells me that this couldn't have been shot handheld. |
