I've never had yummy spam... but I imagine that's what it would look like. Nice spam shot.

I love the picture and the look in his eyes. I think the lighting seems dark and there's a lot of space above his head.

That's hilarious. It's so funny that it's true. Of course, I'm sure it was a little less funny to get the bill.

Thanks to all of you out there in DPC world who voted. I've been playing around with submitting photos to this site since last fall. I've put a few out there that haven't done well. One of my best friends goes by the user name timfythetoo.

I feel good about this shot since I took lots of shots of snakes at the reptile house at the Columbus zoo. My wife was starting to get impatient that I took a shot of every snake in the building. I set the timer so that my hand wouldn't shake as much and tried to press against the glass with my shoulder. Ultimately, I am pretty pleased with it. But I also thank Tim for directing me to GIMP because my trial of PE 6 ended.

As far as editing... I didn't do a whole lot because the pic turned out nice, but adjusted hue and saturation. I increased the shadows and decreased the highlights. Tweaked the contrast. Then, I did a heavy sharpen, probably too much.

This is familiar to me. I've been at the Chicago O'Hare airport many times. But this is far better than the shots I did! : ) Nice work!
