On Golden Pondby NeilComment: Beautiful silhouette, texture, & overall composition. When I read the title I thought, "but that's not a loon". The water certainly is golden though. |

Waves of Timeby TlemetryComment: Great waves, particularly with such interesting colors (that I'm very curious about), and I love the detail in the ball. |

Water Nymphby rmedavidComment: This is my favorite of the 'person in water' shots. I like the way the DOF blurs out her body to contrast the dark water. It almost makes her head look disembodied, which creeps my wife out but I like it. |

Having a bathby TillyTigerComment: Yes! Ducky! Is this duck crying? It just looks like a tear in the left eye :( Well, I'd probably be crying too with such a small pond to swim in. |

Catch & Releaseby LuDeLushComment: Classic and well captured. I wonder what this would look like if the focal plane were on the fish rather than the fisherman? I mean that out of curiosity rather than criticism as I haven't tried this type of shot before. This is a refreshing and fun entry in this challenge. |

Water Drop By Duckby fantomfotoComment: The texture of the water is wonderful and this is a very interesting moment you've caught with the bill hitting the water. |

Precious water. Thank you for not wasting it. by h2Comment: Excellent drop capture! I like the way you composed this with the faucet. I wonder if a blue background behind the refracted subject might have added some additional interesting color in the drop (but that's just my curiosity playing with an already great shot). Good luck, I'm sure you're doing very well with this one. |

12 Drops Refractingby banmornComment: Ah, I love the drop shots. Great execution on this one. I particularly enjoy the variety in each drop and that the middle left drop is a well centered fisheye of the flower. I hope this does well. |

Broken Cloudby ImagineerComment: Brilliant concept & capture. The only thing that detracts slightly for me is the post processing. There's some jaggedness in the details of the bird, particularly around the beak and wing edges. Also, there is a grainy/posterized feel particularly in the waves. (keep in mind I am far from a processing expert)
Still, this is among my favorite photos in this challenge and I hope you do well with the votes. Congratulations. |

All Aloneby swordandsigilComment: This is where I want to be right now. Beautiful composition. I particularly love the sky/water contrast. The boat seems a little soft to me, but that doesn't matter much as it doesn't take away from the overall placid feel you've captured here. |
