macro_8462.jpgby HeiSchComment: Captivating texture. I have to say that I'm in the "not lovin' the centered composition" crowd and I think it's because the outer circles are slightly off center and that gives me an off balance feel. I do still like this shot a great deal however. |

Delicate Beautyby starrliteComment: Wow. Every once in a while I am shocked to see a photo score so much lower than I scored it. The funny thing is that I'm fairly color blind and didn't even notice the yellows other commenters point out. Still looks b/w to me :)
Still, despite the DMNCs, this is a lovely photo and I hope you keep entering shots of this quality in the future. |

macro #1by incubusComment: I actually like the composition except for the pink blob on the lower left. My eyes were following the lines created by the petals very nicely. The shadow on the far right is slightly distracting as are the specks (water?) along the bottom. Those prongs coming out of the flower are a very interesting feature & I'd love to see those closer up if you end up shooting this flower again. Love the color especially.

The fire withinby hanserikComment: Very effective and thanks for the rare abstract shot. If this doesn't make the front page next week I may have to scream at my monitor until my wife makes me stop :P |

Rejected by Dr_TotoComment: Wow, this is very effective (and abstract thank-you). If I had to guess I'd say this might be the bottom of a pan of water boiling, but I'm not sure how you'd isolate the one bubble unless it was a lucky catch. Congratulations and good luck with the voters. |

Joy Bubbles Forthby jomariComment: Fantastic. Among my favorites in this challenge and I hope your actual use of abstraction and emotion pays off. |

griefby skewsmeComment: Fantastic Abstraction of grief. Tough challenge to predict outcomes, but I'll be very disappointed if this doesn't make the front page next week since it's actually abstract and the most affective of those that met the challenge. |

COLOR BLINDby RooDysignComment: Nice interpretation of the challenge. I think I could do without the rotation, but this certainly conveys a sense of color well. |
