I get a feeling that this would be more fun to watch mmoving and evolving in a video version instead of as a static piece. Must have been fun to see as you were capturing the image.

Nice but less abstract feeling than ideal. The current version is a good detail study of a zebra. The abstract pattern aspect might feel stronger if the original would allow for rotation and then eliminating most of the backlit fringe area, although at the expense of making it less pretty to some eyes.

The central dark area reminds me of a planetarium dome. Non-uniform edges to the circular structure add an unexpectedly dynamic feeling.

Others might have moved to eliminate the blakc shadow in the middle. It would be interesting to hear your thoughts that led you to put it there. Bubbles nicely captured and interestinly with more uniform distribution than commnly seen.
