tumbleman.jpgby desertoddityComment: Originally posted by cfarrell: Oh my goodness this makes me giggle! I'm curious though, has it ever gotten loose in high winds and acrobated across the road? Happened once here with a giant snowman.
I like all the stuff around him, it reminds me of Godzilla on a rampage. Great find. |
not that i know of. i'm sure if it had, though, it would have caused an accident and they wouldn't put it there anymore. at least, when i see him, i have a quick smile before work. |

tumbleman.jpgby desertoddityComment: Originally posted by roz: 'begin double fine zone' .. does that mean that any fine is doubled in that zone ?
we have wot is known as double demerit points especially during holidays .. if you get booked for speeding or wotever then you have to pay double the fine and you lose double the amount of points off your licence .. we have a point system in australia .. you are given 12 points and if you lose the lot then you lose your licence ..
for example .. you lose 1 point for up to 15kms over the speed limit .. 3 points for 15-30kms over the speed limit .. not wearing a seat belt you lose 3 points ..
which reminds me i must get on the net and find out how many points i have left !!! :) |
we have the point system here, too. i don't know if the points are double in those zones, though, i'm a good girl. they put those up where there is construction to try and prevent workers from being killed or injured. |

The Firebenderby azooyorkmysteryComment: the hand seems a little out of focus to me. the background could be improved in some way (maybe some a solid coloured paper attached to the wall?) some of the fire is lost outside the photo. my eye is drawn off the photo almost immediately. |

An Icy Receptionby WishboneComment: the background is too plain... maybe they could have been moved or shot from a different angle maybe or cropped differently. those are funny little things, though.. looking at them makes me grin. |
