Untitledby andywightmanComment: lovely. the background is out of the dof enough to not become part of her, yet gives texture and color. she is a doll, and I love the "free" mood of the whole image. |

The Key's to Successby jefalkComment: interesting portrait putting the person into their "environment". Great lighting. The only 2 things I would tweek would be to 1) change his hand position to face the back of the hand to the camera rather than the side of the hand... back of the hand is more masculine. 2) I might have him lean toward the piano a bit more, or rest the other arm or hand on it. He is getting his portrait taken with the piano, so it must be an important aspect of his life.
nice going all around. :) |

-LAURA-by AnastasiaComment: did you mean for this to be horizontal? I think vertical would be better(forgive me, I don't want to insult your artistic side). - gorgeous portrait otherwise. |

My Cameliaby mariomelComment: what a doll! beautiful "cow" eyes.
the crop needs to eliminate or almost eliminate the brick background. lighting is wonderful! I think this is only missing a good crop. |

Anastasiaby nbortonComment: nice portrait of Anastasia. :)
I am not sure I like her cheek cut off like that, but I like her eyes and her expression. nice tilt to her head...feels natural.
a bit of a green cast. |

Little Manby cbellerComment: nice lighting and background. his eye direction takes away from the overall feel of the shot. same expression looking directly at the camera would have a greater impact. |

Samby JackoComment: isn't Sam getting big! beautiful little boy, love the toes, the expression. great job getting him to look right at the camera. most people miss that in a portrait.

My son, Johnby cabaComment: interesting pose/subject/environment. more light on his face, and getting those all important catch lights in his eyes would improve this.
On an aside.. the border needs work :) |
