Symbol of Loveby riversongComment: Greetings from the CC
I really like the composition that you chose. The subject choice is cliche for the topic, but you managed to enhance the creativity and appeal of the image. The choice of color background is also good, green is always a good backdrop for nature shots. The depth of field is also excellent helping your subject to stand out more.
The line of the flower gives a diagonal line in the image which again adds to the image.
What I feel is missing a bit is a bit more even light on the rose just to help it POP a bit more. Also if it was tilted a bit more towards the front of the image vs a bit to the left of image it may have helped.
Good effort, you can tell you put some thought into the image, but try to stay away from cliches if you can unless you can do them in a really extrodinary way. |

Come back soon. by BrookiedComment: Greetings from the CC. Well, I like that you have a wide range of tones in the B&W. Your image falls into the category of concept images which certainly is popular these days. And not always easy to do. I am not sure what to say that has not already been said in the comments. The woman in the picture is so important even tho she is blurred, without her it would be nothing. The low angle really works!
Congrats on the ribbon! |

Walking to Nowhereby UbersteinyComment: greetings from the CC. Well, this is not my kind of image really, but that being said I really like the girl and her pose I really like the composition and her so centrally located. Definitely a black and white image called for here adds mood. Color would have been really boring.
I like that she IS the focus as well she should be. I do not like the sky. It is just way too far gone and overexposed. And while the height makes her look small there is just too much info/detail gone in the sky.
I also do not like that the buildings are falling in on her, being advanced editing I would of straightened the buildings.
I hope that helps, overall well done.
Hey I see here this is in Victoria, cool, I am in vancouver. |

Kids in Chinatownby oksamitComment: greetings from the CC, well this image scene/place/time has the potential for a great shot. You got kids and color which is a great combo for a subject, but when shooting people eyes is generally key and getting light in them if possible. Your subjects are also a little to central would like to see them further right in the frame so that you can see what is in front of them more.
The image is not completely sharp, tho i like the motion in the hands and of whatever they have in their hands. But if wanted to get it sharp you could bump up your ISO a little. It makes me feel like it is an image of an ear, vs. 2 kids.
The pluses here are kids and color...the down side can't see faces or eyes the composition is poor.
Keep shooting!

Taking A Dive by MarcusArmaniComment: This is such a great capture, i am totally jealous fo this shot, the only thing I would recommend is to darken it a little, or use shadow and highlight to take away some of the brightness.
But I really do love it! congrats |
