having been to the Philippines as well its sad to see just how impoverish the place is in some areas
we spent a week on Boracay Island and although the place is so beautiful you have to feel for the staff in the resorts many on B.I go mths away from family to earn what little they are paid i still found them to be the most friendliest people along with the Solomon Islanders who were amazing as well
