Outside Inby noranekoComment: The colours and the mood of this image are really nice. For me the composition is perfect. Based on the score, it looks like the voters agree. I think what might have pushed this up in the standings a little bit more would be if the dog were sharper. |

Curiousby SDWComment: I noticed the headless horse in the background then read your comment so know you're aware of that already. ;o)
I think this would do much better with shallower DOF. Shooting wide open at 3.5 probably would have helped a bit.
I also think the image needs more contrast. |

Fine weather for Ducksby GThumbtackComment: Good choice to show black and white, but ....
1) lighting seems flat
2) too much foreground. The trees have much more interest so show more trees and sky and less foreground. This would put the ducks less central and make the image more dynamic |
