I scored this a 7 but here's what I see...

- Foreground feathers seem to be over exposed
- Feathers around the top of the head are out of focus and the eyelid seems to be a bit soft. This may be due to movement of the bird indicating that a faster shutter speed should have been used.

The DOF could be increased therefore bringing more of the bird into focus.

This is funny. The impression I get is someone trying to take a picture of the zebra but the ostritch just popped up as the shutter was released.

The Lake and the Flamingo

The patterns captured add alot of interest here however the OOF bird is distracting due to the colour and brightness as compared to the one that is in focus.

This is a good idea however the image has either been blown up way too much, oversharpened or both. There is a lot of cromatic aberation (CA) present around the edges of the birds and the branches at the top.
